The Main Source Bank on S. Market St. was robbed this morning. The amount of cash taken has not been released.

Shortly before the robbery the police received a call of a man with a gun at the Walmart. Troy Police have neither confirmed or denied whether this was related to the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white or light skinned black male wearing a black ski mask,black jacket, black hooded sweatshirt and black winter gloves.  He also had on faded blue jeans and white running-style tennis shoes.

Witnesses also reported seeing a silver or gray Pontiac leaving the area shortly after the robbery.

The suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a bag telling her to fill it up.  No weapon was displayed and no note was handed to the teller.  The suspect then left the bank on foot, heading south between some houses. 

Officers were able to follow some tracks left in the snow and, with the help of the Tipp City Police K9 unit, tracked the suspect to the 700 block of S. Walnut St.  The tracks ended at the location but the suspect was not located.
