UPDATE 4:46 p.m.

At 3:30 PM today Tipp City Police stopped the black Honda Civic  in which a broadcast had been placed by M.C.S.O.  The driver, Mathew Pour, age 32 of Troy was taken into custody on the felony burglary warrant without incident and incarcerated into the Miami County jail.  He was also found in possession of suspected heroin.  The investigation continues and the other suspect, Thomas Thiel, age 41, of Dayton remains at large with an active felony warrant for burglary.  Anyone with information on Thiel’s whereabouts is asked to call the Miami County Communication Center at 937-440-3958.  Anonymous tips can be left on our website, www.miamicountysheriff.org.

 

Miami County Sheriff’s detectives have applied for and obtained felony arrest warrants  for Mathew Pour, age 32, of Troy and Thomas Thiel, age 41, of Dayton for Burglary.  The charges stem from an attached garage being broken into in Concord Township recently.  Matthew Pour is known to be driving a black Honda Civic bearing Ohio license plate number 213YUL.  The Miami County Sheriff’s Office and the Tipp City Police Department have been investigating other cases in which garages have been targeted and both Pour and Thiel are suspected.
